ベネッセコーポレーションは３日、難関大学専門の進学塾、鉄緑会（東京）の株式の８割を取得し、傘下に収めることで同社と合意した。（中略）。子会社化後も鉄緑会の社名や教室は存続する。主力の通信教育「進研ゼミ」在籍者数の減少傾向を受けて進める、買収も含めた塾事業強化策の一環。（以下略）（NIKKEI NETより）
