各界のマンガ通が「その年一番のマンガ」を選ぼうと創設された「マンガ大賞」が28日発表され、石塚真一さんの「岳」（小学館）が初の大賞に選ばれた。
同賞は、“マンガの直木賞”を目指そうと創設されたもので、07年1年間に単行本が出版され、刊行8巻以内のマンガから、推薦作全169作品を対象に投票で上位12作品を選定。選考員全員が作品を読んで対象が決定した。（以下略）（毎日新聞 配信より）

「どうして山に登るのだろう？」と感じていた。あんなに簡単に「死」が間近に迫るというのに。
そんな疑問も「岳」を読んで少しはわかったような気がする。。。
何回読んでも泣けるよなぁ。
